HUE AM I is a labor of love -- conceived in 2015 and birthed in 2018.

We started this brand because it's so easy to focus on the labels in which we identify and forget that in spite of our differences, we are all human beings sharing this planet and this human experience. And while our skin color is a beautiful part of who we are, we are not solely defined by it.

It is our hope that this brand will spark conversations among family, friends, colleagues, and strangers about racism, colorism, diversity and most of all humanity. We hope it will help shift perspectives and inspire us all to truly get to know others, especially those we believe are different from us.

We look forward to a world where genuine appreciation and CELEBRATION of our diversity and our oneness is the norm.
